Headteacher notes.......
Hello and welcome to everyone in our school; families, friends and visitors, at the start of this new school year.
A year of change!
Having been part of Rivington Foundation Primary School for many years as teacher and Deputy Head, it is now a fantastic opportunity for me to be here as Headteacher! To have the change and challenge that are part of this role in the best place possible!! ( No bias there at all!)
I am lucky to have  dedicated and supportive staff working with me for the benefit of our Rivington children! Throughout this year of Curriculum change, SEN restructuring, opening of our Acorns unit (2yr olds), plus many other 'new' areas, roles and responsibilities throughout school; I know we are all here to give our children the best experience of education possible!
Visits to school are welcome, please speak to Mrs How , our Bursar, to arrange this.
Mrs Janine Carter-Clavell
